The Nicene Creed has the line:

We believe in one holy catholic and apostolic Church.

And I do.  The institution of the church may be divided into many denominations, sects, streams and groupings.  But the actual body of believers, the universal church of all who believe in Jesus Christ as their saviour, is a single unit and is the Bride of Christ waiting for the Bridegroom to return.

Thank you Lord for the church.
